Sunanda Kumari

Les Harvey

J. G. Parry-Thomas

In 1927, racing driver Parry Thomas died trying to set the record. Just a few weeks ago Malcolm Marshall broke his previous land speed world record at Pendine Sands Beach. He decided to recover the record. The car he was using had no cover on the chain connecting the engine to the drive wheel. That event took his life.
